Fast bowler Naseem Shah on Monday became the youngest fast bowler in the world to take a five-wicket haul in an innings of a Test match. Shah claimed figures of 5/31 in Pakistan’s 263 run win at Karachi’s National Stadium.
Shah achieved the feat at the age of 16 years and 311 days. The youngest bowler ever to take a five wicket haul is also from Pakistan. In 1958, spinner Nasim-ul-Ghani had become the youngest bowler to claim a five-for against the mighty West Indian Test team.
